UPDATE: GTA:SA DayZ Survival Remastered V5.13 - EpicDutchie - 05-05-2025

GTA:SA Dayz Survival Remastered - Version 5.13
New dynamic plane crashes have been added, VIP perks and features have been modified.
Changelog:
  • New dynamic plane crashes, read more about them below.
  • New high tier items, Landmine and RPG, read about them below.
  • Easter is over, event has been disabled but you can still open any eggs you have left.
  • Blood roses now add 40 blood instead of 100.
  • Smoking Marijuana now adds 40 blood instead of 100.
  • Life elixir now adds 100 blood instead of 200.
  • Command /pmblock was added in a previous update but was not mentioned.
  • Timeout between using blood bags has been increased to 30 seconds which used to be 5 seconds.
  • Timeout between using medical kits has been increased to 15 seconds which used to be 5 seconds.
  • VIP level 1 players now spawn with 120 blood instead of 130.
  • VIP level 1 players now get a maximum of 120 blood when using a blood bag.
  • VIP level 2 players now spawn with 135 blood instead of 160.
  • VIP level 2 players now get a maximum of 135 blood when using a blood bag.
  • VIP level 3 players now spawn with 150 blood instead of 200.
  • VIP level 3 players now get a maximum of 150 blood when using a blood bag.

Dynamic plane crashes:
  • Every 30-45 minutes a plane crash appears somewhere on one of about 70 set locations.
  • The crash is announced in the chat along with a general location.
  • Anywhere between 5 and 10 rolls are performed to add loot to the crash site.
  • Every roll has a chance to spawn normal loot, or a preset of high tier loot.
  • Chances for normal loot are 75% per roll, the other 25% hit the table or rarer items.
  • The rare table consists of the new Landmine, RPG-7 and rockets for the RPG-7 in addition with Ammo, Weapons, Gear and C4.
  • The dispersion of loot in the rare drop table is evenly distributed across the available items.
  • When a Landmine is rolled as loot it spawns 1 Landmine with a 25% chance to spawn another one.
  • When a RPG-7 is rolled as loot it spawns with either 1, 2 or 3 rockets with it.
  • When a plane crash despawns, all loot nearby despawns with it to prevent loot cluttering on previous crash sites.
  • All three new rare items are not bindable for those curious to try it.

Landmines:
  • Can be placed anywhere where C4 can also be placed.
  • Takes up to 10 seconds after placing before arming.
  • After arming anyone, including yourself, going nearby will cause the mine to detonate.
  • Mines are also sensitive to vehicles that have a player in them.
  • Mines do significant damage, cause you to bleed and break your legs.
  • You will be notified through a text message if your mine exploded.
  • You will receive an additional text message if the player got killed by your Landmine.
  • Mines despawn after 24 hours if not exploded.

Note on the new stuff:

For those scared about it turning the server into further carnage than it already is...
The RPG is very rare and difficult to obtain, the ammo is limited and the damage is about equal to a grenade.
Please try for yourself and I will keep a close eye for reports, if it's unreasonable.

DayZ Remastered will celebrate its 6th anniversary on the 20th of May, 2025.

Post update hotfix:
  • Loot respawn no longer affects plane crash items.
  • RPG can no longer be stored in a gunlocker.
  • You can now shoot landmines like you can shoot C4 to explode it.
  • Plane crash loot now spawns more accurately (no floating etc.)

Update status: implemented.
