GTA SA: DayZ Administrator Rules [MUST READ] - Die4Peace - 05-11-2019

| ADMINISTRATOR RULES |This is a list of all current Administrative Rules our Staff Members MUST follow by. New Staff Member applicants must read through these rules before applying for Admin Status. All current Administrators must already be familiar with our Administrative Rules. All players have rights to gaming on our DayZ server so all Community Members have the right to know what an Administrator can and cannot do against them.Staff Members caught breaking rules, heavily abusing, or are reported by Community Members for breaching these Administrative Rules may / may not be punished. (Demotion, Removal from Staff, Banned from server, etc)

You must follow all Server Rules & Forum Rules.
  • Do not misuse Administrative commands for your own advantage.

  • Do not boss around other Administrators. You can work together and instruct each other but DO NOT force others to do things they don't want to do.

  • Don't insult players verbally, if the player started insulting then first issue him a warning and remain calm and follow proper Staff behavior.

  • Always have proof of a player using illegal programs/cheats/files before banning him. Failure to do so can get you demoted.

  • Higher ranked Administrators have more experience than other Staff Members. Show them more respect when working with them.

  • Respect all Community Members.
  • Don't start conflicts with fellow Administrators, contact one of the server Owners if you have a problem between you and one or more Staff Members or report them in the "Administrator Reports" (for regular players) or the "Staff Reports" (Admin forum) sections of the forums.

  • Notify all players via /ann before respawning all unoccupied vehicles (at least 30 seconds prior to the respawn)

  • You must try to cooperate as a unit with other Staff Team Members.

  • Issue a ban/kick with actual reasons. Not dumb reasons.

  • Do not mute, kick, ban, warn or abuse any other Staff command against anyone as a joke. Use commands for serious manners only.

  • Administrators must always help players in need.

  • It is forbidden to threaten players for any reason.

  • Respect every player equally, no matter their position.

  • It is forbidden to mute players if they aren't insulting/spamming and just stating their opinion. You can only mute for insults, spam/flood. Do not mute for speaking their mind, speaking other languages, etc.

  • If you'll be away for more than 4 days, write an Inactivity Report in the Staff Section. Failure to do so can get you removed from the Staff Team.

  • If a player was banned without you having evidence, you will be warned/removed, depending on the situation.

  • Try to mention full reasons while banning or issuing a warning against player, Avoid abbreviations (eg: TP, AB, SH, CL).

  • Inform Administrators in-game when you're going AFK for few minutes. You are allowed to spec the bot ONLY for 5 MINUTES MAX when temporarily going AFK. DO NOT stay AFK in-game for multiple hours! This is part of being 'inactive'

  • Always keep an eye on the main chats. Admin chat, Global chat, VIP chat, Helper chat.

  • If no Helper is online to answer questions from /ask you must also respond and answer questions with /ans for players needing help.

  • Do not spectate other Admins/players just to get their location/distract/bother them. Only spectated for valid reasons. If a fellow administrator is fine with you spectating them then it is fine.

  • Do not spectate players without a VALID REASON. In order to spectate players, someone must report the player, you must suspect the player of cheats, you must have received a warning from the anti-cheat bot, etc. Do not spectate just to stalk players every movement with no reason.

  • DO NOT bait players you are trying to catch for wallhack/aimbot by telling other Admins/players the 'cheating' players position. Get PERMISSION from a Head Administrator+ first.

  • All reports are important reports. All Admins must spectate possible cheaters/abusers no matter the rank they are. Do not focus your entire time on one player. Try to multitask or ask for help to manage to watch over more than one player at a time. Learn and practice to work as a team.

  • You should always be up-to-date with https://gta-dayz.com/forum/index.php?topic=4804.0 (Staff Team Notifications)

  • DO NOT notify your friends/gang members/allies/non-admin player when another Administrator is checking them for cheats/abuse. If you are caught in suspicion and investigated and are found guilty to notifying your friends of Administrators checking on them. You will be removed from the staff team, permanently banned from the server, and the people you assisted will also be temporarily banned from the server. We do not take this lightly.

  • DO NOT spend hours on ADMIN DUTY and DO NOT go on ADMIN DUTY every few minutes. ADMIN DUTY is only for rare occasions when absolutely necessary. (New player who has never heard of DayZ or an extreme bug that may cause problems on the server) Do not exceed ADMIN DUTY for more than 5 minutes. Do not go on ADMIN DUTY every single time you see a tiny problem.

  • Using /spec or other log commands to find players base password / locker passwords IS NOT ALLOWED. If you are caught using a players base password, or locker password without that player giving it to you personally in anyway you will be AUTO removed from the staff team for abuse..

  • DO NOT ABUSE /restore (Admins level 3+) for your own or your friends personal use. This command is ONLY to be used to restore PLAYERS who have been killed by a hacker or have died due to a bug. They MUST provide some sort of valid proof, this includes providing proof for yourself. All commands are logged and saved in the database and are reviewed often. Caught abusing this in anyway for your own personal benefit will result in heavy consequences.

  • ONLY warn for VALID reasons. (Insults, constant abuse, not following rules, etc) 3 /warn(s) now cause players to be temporarily banned. SO DO NOT go around /warn(ing) people for the tiniest reasons. You can also WARN players simply by typing in the chat. Only /warn for PROPER HEAVIER reasons.
